From May 11th to May 13th, 2018, the Institute of Fushuo University of Fudan University jointly organized a three-day “Shareholder Dispute Litigation and Negotiation Strategy” practice training camp. Our lawyer Song Haijia is responsible for the overall planning and technical guidance of this event. Many lawyers including Gu Liping, Xu Qing, Zhou Jie and He Defeng also participated in the assistance and guidance of this event.

The event is divided into three main units: the pre-May 11 training seminar, the May 12th Bay Valley Science and Technology Student Group Discussion Case, and the May 13th Theme Reporting Exhibition.

On May 11, Mr. Song went to the Zhihua Building of Fudan University to hold a training seminar on “Shareholder Dispute Litigation and Negotiation Strategy”. In the seminar, Mr. Song introduced the negotiating strategy of shareholder dispute litigation in a simple way by asking questions and guiding discussions. This teaching method reflects the profound professionality of strategizing and also closely focuses on judicial practice. The students brought new inspiration and deep insights to the conversation. During this period, Mr. Gu Liping had conducted an in-depth analysis of the typical cases seen in 25 types of shareholder disputes, pointing out that the cultivation of research ability is of great importance to college students, especially law students.

On May 12th, the students who participated in the activities held by our lawyers were randomly divided into groups to discuss the cases presented. In this process, the students were given corresponding guidance on the case and possible issues.

On May 13th, the teams conducted a mock negotiation on the plans formed on the previous day, and showed the results. After seeing the wonderful results shown by the students, Song Haijia commented on the results of the exhibition and pointed out that in the process of negotiation, it is necessary to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages, and pay attention to the timings, which needs to be timely and appropriate. This emphasis has been recognized by the students, and said that they have benefited from the activities held within the three days. They have further expressed the ardent desire to further follow the steps of Mr Song.
