On July 14, 2023, Lawyer Gu Liping from our firm was invited to deliver a lecture at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.

 A practical course filled with vivid cases and engaging interactions provided a perfect conclusion to the students' Lawyer Practice course for the 2023 summer semester.

Lawyer Gu began with an introduction to the work of equity lawyers, using the process of convening shareholder meetings to connect cases and guiding students to understand equity dispute cases from a preventive perspective. Through litigation timelines and equity structure diagrams, students gained a deep appreciation for the prolonged and far-reaching nature of shareholder disputes. In response to these characteristics, Lawyer Gu proposed a solution: pursuing a path of deep specialization.

Next, Lawyer Gu used a seemingly simple "debt collection" case to demonstrate the endless possibilities of case analysis from a professional perspective. Another case, resolved during the compilation of Partners, inspired students to recognize the importance of knowledge management and the systematization of expertise for equity lawyers.

Lawyer Gu's stories were endless, and the students remained engaged, constantly thinking along with his narrative. Smiles of enjoyment and enlightenment never left their faces. After the course, the students expressed their appreciation for the session and gave a warm round of applause.
