To deepen exchanges with law firms in Qingdao, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu from our firm were invited by the Corporate Law Committee of the Qingdao Lawyers Association to visit five outstanding law firms in Qingdao from August 23 to 25, 2021, for learning and exchange.

On the afternoon of August 23, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu began their Qingdao trip with their first stop at Shanghai AllBright Law Offices (Qingdao). They conducted a sharing session on the theme of "Equity Lawyers & Ethical Dilemmas," attended by over 60 lawyers, including Li Jingxin, Director of the Corporate Law Committee of the Qingdao Lawyers Association; Dai Baoyi, Deputy Director; Guo Fanju, Secretary-General; Wang Yu, Director of AllBright Qingdao; and Senior Partner Shang Suyu.

On the morning of August 24, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu visited Duan & Duan Law Firm (Qingdao). Zhou Haiyan, Director of the Global Board of Duan & Duan and Head of the Qingdao Office, provided a detailed introduction to the firm's business operations and shared experiences in managing legal teams. The meeting featured in-depth and enthusiastic exchanges.

In the afternoon, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu visited Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm (Qingdao). Under the guidance of Senior Partner Li Jingxin, who also serves as the Director of the Corporate Law Committee of the Qingdao Lawyers Association, both sides exchanged ideas on team building, cultural development, and law firm management philosophies.

Later, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu held a discussion at Shandong Zhenghang Law Firm. Li Qiuhang, Director of Zhenghang Law Firm, along with young lawyers from the firm, extended a warm welcome. Participants expressed a desire for regular exchange activities between the two firms to foster mutual learning and support, advancing together on their respective development paths.

On the morning of August 25, Lawyer Song and Lawyer Gu concluded their Qingdao trip with a visit to Shandong Guanghao Law Firm. During the exchange session, Lawyer Song shared insights on handling equity disputes, focusing on key themes such as "brand, professionalism, challenges, and harmony." He discussed the brand and market positioning of equity lawyers, their thought processes, and the challenges and ethical dilemmas they face, offering valuable perspectives and reflections.
