This course is one of the most popular among students at Fudan University and has been recognized as a Fudan University Outstanding Practical Course. This marks the fourth time our firm has entered the Fudan campus to teach students. Enrollment for this semester was limited to 40 students and was fully booked shortly after registration opened.

This session provided a systematic review and summary of the previous negotiation course. Lawyer Gu emphasized that the first step for a lawyer when engaging with clients is to understand their needs and the root causes of shareholder disputes. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining an independent, objective, and professional stance, clearly analyzing the legal risks in the case rather than aligning emotionally with the client.

In the latter part of the session, Lawyer Gu explained the key points of legal service contracts and addressed the issue of conflicts of interest that equity lawyers often encounter in practice.

Due to the extensive content, Lawyer Gu extended the session to ensure a thorough and detailed explanation. The students listened attentively, and the session concluded with enthusiastic applause, with everyone expressing that they had gained valuable insights.
