Founder of Shanghai Song & Gu Law Firm, Master of National University of Singapore, Distinguished Professor of Law School of East China University of Political Science and Law, Ph.D. in progress at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, Tutor of Master's Degree Practice Course at School of Law of Fudan University, with professional background in Law, Philosophy and Management.

Having focused on the research and practice of equity law issues for more than 20 years, he specializes in dealing with shareholders' disputes via the "litigation + negotiation" approach.

Lawyer Song has served as a National Science and Technology Entrepreneur Tutor, Legal Adviser of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Deputy Director of Shanghai Science Management Committee Professional Advisory Committee, Deputy Director of the 8th Company Law Committee of Shanghai Lawyers, and Deputy Director of the 9th State-owned State-owned Enterprise Special Committee.

Furthermore, he has won the titles of “Shanghai Jingan’s Top Ten Lawyers”, “Shanghai Excellent Technology Entrepreneurship Tutor”, “Shanghai Excellent Volunteers” and “Shanghai Top Ten Outstanding Volunteers”.

The paper Equity Incentive Mechanism for Non-Listed Companies is awarded as the Outstanding Paper of the National University of Singapore. Lawyer Song teaches one of the most popular corporate governance courses, "Litigating and Negotiating Shareholder Disputes," at the School of Business and the School of Law.

He has more than 20 years of experience in finance, investment and management. He used to be the financial manager of Hanvey Real Estate Investment Co. and the fund manager of Haitong Securities Asset Management Headquarters, which helps him accumulate abundant experiences in investment M&A, investment analysis and financial management.

Gu Liping

Partner of Shanghai Song & Gu Law Firm, the seventh Shanghai Outstanding Young Lawyer, non-partisan democrat, graduated from East China University of Politics and Law, the second Shanghai Lawyer Debate Competition Top Ten Debaters, has been in Harvard Law School training negotiation project, Fudan University Law School Practice Course Master's tutor, Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Mentor.

In the case of representing shareholder disputes, based on more than ten years of experience in dealing with the company law, he has undertaken all types of shareholder disputes stipulated by the Supreme People's Court and is familiar with the judicial standards of various types of shareholder disputes. He can accurately identify, analyze and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of both parties relating to the dispute, predict the trend of the case, file a lawsuit in a timely and appropriate manner, as well as resolve disputes through principled and cooperative negotiation.
