This is a biography and a collection of stories. It is an assignment completed by Song and Gu, and finally presented to readers. Song started as a young lawyer, ventured into Shanghai, and founded a law firm. Gu grew up from a child to a student, then to an assistant, and eventually becomes a lawyer. Despite different eras and divergent paths, they both pursued professionalism and become Song and Gu they are today. Being a professional lawyer brings many joys, but also involves challenges; running a professional law firm offers a sense of accomplishment, but there are also various frustrations. This book doesn't seek standard answers, it merely presents real stories.
