On September 24, 2019, a singing party is held in Jingan District, Shanghai, to mark the 70 years of the People’s Republic of China. Senior partner Gu Liping participates in it, bringing a song named The River. 

As the famous poet in ancient China, Su Shi, praises in his poem, “Autumn is the greatest season of a year, which you should not miss; It’s exactly when the oranges turn yellow and tangerines are still green.” It’s really a joy for 17 amateur singers, who are all law professionals, to present their songs as a gift to the 70th birthday of the motherland in such a fine day.

As the fifth singer, Gu wins a prize for his performance.
